Enthusiastic and Positive relationships with family and friends are vital it will feed you with the much-needed confidence to succeed in your business. 4 tips to maintain business success while making personal relationships work this just needs a little right practices and habits

1. Set Goals for Life & Business both
While businesses are important, relationships are too. Most business owners plan their business goals, but let me ask you your life goals and personal relationship goals. If not, understand that’s the priority. It was important to set and prioritize your life goals to achieve success in your business and personal relationships. The good idea is to include your partner in your daily schedule, making it easier to maintain your relationship and your business success. Your personal relationships should always be your number one priority; if not, your business will be successful, but your relationship will likely have challenges. So make sure your number one priority is your partner and your family, number two is your business, and number three is your friends and/or social life.
A good way to do this is to reserve a specific amount of time for your partner and plan the rest of your week around that. If you want to strengthen your relationship ensuring that you make time for your partner. Divide your time between your important relationships and

your business. Sometimes, their are business challenges or emergencies, and you will have to adjust as needed to address them, that’s one reason for having your partner be aware of your business activities. If they are kept in the loop, they are in a better position to understand your business needs.

2. Keep them informed.

Often, when partners do not share your business vision. they may feel unimportant and don’t understand the commitment to the business. Its important to let your partner know how committed you are to your business, and that you’ll do your best to spend time with them. You shouldn’t always discuss business with your partner, but its important when things get tough in the business, revel or confide, don’t hide; you never know there may be insights that you partner has that you haven’t considered. Such a conversations can help make your partner feel important and appreciated.

It will be easier for your partner to understand and provide support when you share your business challenges.

3. Getting them involved.

Don’t miss on the opportunities to let your partner know that your happy to be in their company,. Whenever there is a business event, ask your partner to attend the outing with you. Get your partner introduced to all the people you know your partner can help you in networking, he or she may not be there for business purposes, but the acquaintances gained from the event might become helpful to your business. Its ok if they don’t share your business vision but involving them and showing your appreciation you will ensure a better understanding and will showcase your commitment to both your business and your relationship.

4. Refresh and Revive.

Despite setting business and life goals and prioritising time during the week, incorporating your partner into your business activities, it may still

seem that you’re always thinking about your business. This can have a negative affect on your personal outlook, life and your general health. One tip here is to avoid micromanaging your business. You can’t always be in charge but you need to take charge of those you are in charge, it simply means learn to delegate, and trust your employees and business partners. When your employees and business partners know you trust them, they’re more motivated to work hard and maintain good employee and business relations.

Sometimes its important to disconnect from the business for a little while and come back with a fresh perspective, so you can get better at things. This will also give you time to keep your focus and strengthen your relationship with your partner. Now this doesn’t need to be a regular occurrence but your can unplug and refresh. It could be as simple as a weekend vacation, movie or a long drive where you find yourself not thinking about your business. It will help refresh you and, when it’s spent with your partner, it just helps in strengthening your relationship.
